Riffe has over 30 years of wood speargun building experience.
At ten years of age, JAY RIFFE started spearfishing off the Southern
California Coast with a hand spear. At fifteen he was spearfishing
competitively, and by age twenty-two became the Pacific Coast Champion.
Jay then placed in the Nationals, landing a spot on the World
Spearfishing Team. Later, he set three World Records… all with his own
handcrafted wooden spearguns.
