Hawaiian local name: Nenue
Japanese name: ミナミイスズミ

Traveling mainly in schools of large to small sized nenues, these inhabit all places of the reef form fissures of the reef to mid water swimming. Known as fighters and bleeders, also to attract sharks when shot due to fluid loss and vibrations made from culling. Meat is very strong and odorous, locals make "Poke" with it, combining vegetables and sauces and or baked as a casserole with mayonnaise and tomatoes.
